Welcome to Teezi. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Teezi app (app.teezi.golf) and website (teezi.golf) (the “Platform”).
By creating an account, subscribing, or using Teezi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. About Teezi
Teezi is a golf networking platform that enables golfers to connect, match for rounds, discover local games, receive alerts, and participate in engagement-based reward programs.
Teezi is operated by Teezi (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Teezi.
By using Teezi, you confirm that:
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
All information provided is accurate and truthful.
3. Your Account
You may register using Google Sign-In or other approved authentication methods.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining account security.
Keeping login credentials confidential.
All activity conducted under your account.
You must not:
Share your account.
Create multiple accounts to bypass trials, promo codes, or reward systems.
Provide false or misleading information.
Teezi reserves the right to suspend or permanently close duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive accounts without notice.
4. Acceptable Use & Community Conduct
Teezi is designed to create a respectful golfing community.
You agree not to:
Use Teezi for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity.
Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
Use abusive, discriminatory, hateful, or offensive language of any kind.
Impersonate another person/s.
Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Platform.
Abusive language or behaviour is strictly prohibited.
All reports and complaints are investigated. Teezi may suspend or terminate accounts immediately where misconduct is identified.
Teezi is not responsible for the conduct of users during offline meetings or arranged golf rounds.
5. Subscriptions, Payments & Free Trial
Paid Subscription Service
Teezi is a paid subscription service.
Access to the full features of the Platform requires an active paid subscription, subject to any applicable free trial or promotional offer.
Payments:
All subscription payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Teezi does not store or hold:
Credit card information.
Billing addresses.
Payment details.
All payment information, including billing address and personal details entered during checkout, is held and processed solely by Stripe in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.
Teezi accepts no responsibility for the handling, storage, or security of information submitted directly to Stripe.
By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s terms and conditions.
Subscription Options:
Subscription options may include:
Monthly Subscription.
Quarterly Subscription.
Yearly Subscription.
Prices and billing terms are clearly displayed within the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You are responsible for managing your subscription through your account or payment provider.
14-Day Free Trial:
New users may receive a 14-day free trial (where offered).
The free trial is limited to one person per user.
Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials is strictly prohibited.
Teezi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of trial abuse.
After 14 days, Teezi reserves the right to delete all account and game data.
It is the users responsibility to keep an active payment method to avoid disruption.
All trials are automatically cancelled if no payment method is applied to your Stripe account after 14 days. Thereafter, you may only gain access to your account portal to reactivate a subscription by paying the applicable fee, entering a promo code or to delete your account.
Promo Codes:
From time to time, Teezi may issue promotional codes.
Promo codes:
Are linked to the registered/subscribed email address used at sign-up or subscription.
Cannot be transferred or reassigned to another email account.
Cannot be exchanged for cash.
Must be applied at the time of registration or subscription (unless otherwise stated).
It is the user’s sole responsibility to provide the correct email address during registration and subscription. Teezi is not responsible for promo code loss due to incorrect or changed email information.
Teezi reserves the right to cancel or refuse promotional codes where misuse or abuse is suspected.
Refund Policy:
Teezi operates a no-refund policy except where required by law.
We may consider reimbursement or account credit in cases of:
Significant platform-wide downtime.
Verified technical faults preventing access to core subscription features for a sustained period.
Refunds or credits are issued at Teezi’s sole discretion.
The following are not valid grounds for refunds:
No available games in your area.
Low user activity in your location.
Lack of communication from other users.
Difficulty organising matches.
Personal scheduling conflicts.
Dissatisfaction with engagement levels.
Teezi facilitates connections but does not guarantee match availability or outcomes.
6. App Rewards & Tier System
Teezi operates an in-app rewards system based on activity and engagement.
Points & Scoring System:
Points are awarded as follows:
Solo games: 3 points per user
Team games: 3 points per user
Highest scoring player in a winning team game: 5 points
Practice games: 1 point per user
Simulator games: 1 point per user
Private games (hosting or joining): 0 points
Teezi reserves the right to modify the points structure at any time.
Tiers:
Points determine progression through tier levels, which may include:
Tee Rookie
Chippie
Striker
Par Master
Eagle Eye
Albatross
Champion
Tour Pro
Teezi Legend
Tier thresholds and eligibility requirements are displayed within the app and may be updated. Points determine draw category placement, not guaranteed winnings.
Monthly Prize Draws:
Prizes are awarded monthly based on tier eligibility. Winners are selected automatically at random.
Points do not dictate or guarantee that a user will win. Points only determine the category in which a user is entered into a draw.
Prize Claim Conditions:
Winners will be contacted via their registered email address. Failing to respond or having an invalid email address is the user’s responsibility.
Winners must provide requested personal details (including delivery address) within 30 days of notification.
Failure to provide accurate details within 30 days results in forfeiture.
Teezi is not responsible for failed delivery due to inaccurate or incomplete user information.
Teezi reserves the right to modify or discontinue the rewards program at any time.
7. Content & Intellectual Property
Teezi owns all rights to the Platform, including branding, logos, software, and content provided by Teezi.
Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Teezi a non-exclusive license to display and use such content within the Platform.
You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or exploit any part of Teezi without written permission.
8. Privacy
Your use of Teezi is governed by our Privacy Policy. Teezi may use approximate location data to match you with nearby golfers and courses. Teezi relies on third-party services including Google, Firebase, Stripe and related providers.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by navigating to your settings / your account / manage account / connected accounts. At the bottom click 'Delete your account'. You must ensure that, you do not have an active subscription.
Teezi may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms.
You abuse subscription, trial, or promotional systems.
You engage in misconduct.
You attempt to manipulate rewards or points.
10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Teezi is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee:
Continuous availability.
Error-free operation.
Successful matches.
Participation levels in any geographic area.
Teezi is not responsible for:
User behaviour.
Offline meetings.
Disputes between users.
Lack of available games.
Failure of other users to respond.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teezi shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new Effective Date. Continued use of Teezi after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
